We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third-party services.
Information you provide: When you create an account, you provide your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe — we receive only a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status, never your full card number or CVV.
Information collected automatically: We collect data about your device (browser type, operating system, IP address), your usage of the Platform (episodes played, listening duration, series added to My List, search queries), and session data (login timestamps, page views). This data is collected via server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.
Information from third parties: If you authenticate via a third-party OAuth provider (such as Manus), we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognise you across sessions and understand how you use the Platform.
| Type | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Session / Auth | Maintain your login state across pages | Yes |
| Preference | Remember your settings (e.g. playback volume) | Yes |
| Analytics | Understand how users navigate the Platform (aggregated, anonymised) | No |
| Marketing | Measure effectiveness of promotional campaigns | No |
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform, including your ability to stay logged in.
All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure interface. We never receive, store, or have access to your full card number, expiry date, or CVV.
We store only your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status to manage your account. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).
Aggregated, anonymised analytics data (which cannot be used to identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the Platform.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
| Right | What It Means |

| Correction | Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data |
| Deletion | Request deletion of your personal data ('right to be forgotten') |
| Portability | Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format |
| Opt-out | Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in any email |
| Restriction | Request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances |
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to all requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure session management, and access controls limiting who within our organisation can access personal data.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we ensure that any international transfers of your personal data are subject to appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
