We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third-party services.

Information you provide: When you create an account, you provide your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe — we receive only a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status, never your full card number or CVV.

Information collected automatically: We collect data about your device (browser type, operating system, IP address), your usage of the Platform (episodes played, listening duration, series added to My List, search queries), and session data (login timestamps, page views). This data is collected via server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.

Information from third parties: If you authenticate via a third-party OAuth provider (such as Manus), we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognise you across sessions and understand how you use the Platform.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform, including your ability to stay logged in.

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure interface. We never receive, store, or have access to your full card number, expiry date, or CVV.

We store only your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status to manage your account. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• —Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the Platform (e.g. Stripe for payments, cloud hosting providers for infrastructure, analytics tools). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only as directed by us.
• —Legal compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Listeners Lounge, our users, or the public.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

Aggregated, anonymised analytics data (which cannot be used to identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the Platform.

The Listeners Lounge is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers.
